LyonHeart Equine Assisted Learning

A nonprofit organization

Connecting with horses to facilitate growth, learning, and healing to individuals, families & groups. "Harnessing Courage Since 2015" We offer unique equine-assisted programs that help youth connect with horses through hands-on activities, building trust and communication. Our structured programs include problem-solving challenges with horses, group sessions featuring obstacle courses, team-building exercises, and interactive discussions. Individualized programs provide additional support to help participants transition smoothly into group settings.

Winston Churchill once said, "There is something out the outside of a horse that is could for inside of a man." That wisdom is the very foundation of all our programs.

LyonHeart Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) partners horses with youth in a strategic learning environment that empowers youth to overcome social, emotional, behavioral, and educational challenges. Horses connect with participants so they can experience confidence, a positive mindset, and incredible outcomes.

LyonHeart EAL is a non-riding facility. All activities are completed on the ground (non-riding). No previous horse experience is needed. Facilitators are trained educators and volunteers who ensure safely of the youth and the horses.

LyonHeart Equine Assisted Learning serves individuals, families and groups ages 6-86; however, our primary focus are ages 7-18. Our programs include HorsePowered Math, HorsePowered Reading, HorsePowered Life Skills, Book Clubs, Equine Escape Rooms, and Stable Relationships I & II.

Participants engage with horses to explore, solve problems, work with teammates, take risks, use creativity, and discover solutions.
