Leadership Kearney

Leadership Kearney was created to identify, educate, and nurture potential, emerging, and existing leaders that are committed to improving the quality of life in Kearney and the surrounding communities. The organization is comprised of 3 programs: Adult, Youth, and Alumni. Goals include developing leadership for the future, building community trustees, fostering community cooperation, encouraging interactive networking, and promoting community betterment.

All proceeds of the Give Where You Live campaign will be directed to the Youth Leadership Kearney Scholarship Fund. Currently, a goal of the Alumni program is to fund-raise and provide scholarships to Kearney area youth in their senior year that participated in the Youth Leadership Kearney program. Last year, the program provided $4,800 in scholarship funds and this campaign would look to increase the impact.
