Elm Creek Fire & Rescue is an all volunteer department that provides fire protection, rescue services, as well as emergency medical care to the Elm Creek Rural Fire District #7. Our Fire District covers portions on Buffalo, Phelps, and Dawson Counties for a total of 141 Square Miles. Also included are major transportation routes including Interstate 80, Highway 30, Highway 183, and Union Pacific Railroad Triple Track Line.
The principal purpose of the Elm Creek Fire and Rescue Department is the protection and preservation of property within our fire district along with protecting the well-being and health for all persons residing, working, or otherwise within that same fire district and neighboring fire districts when called upon.
