Shelton Area Lions Club

The Shelton Area Lions Club is committed to making Shelton a great place to call home. Our Give Where You Live contributions will be spent in the park and to upgrade our community projects like the free movie in the park and Merry and Bright. The support given to the Lions club has been amazing and we are always mindful of your generous donations and making the most of them to improve our community. The Shelton Area Lions Club likes to take on projects that enrich and enhance the village, local residents, and visitors. The Shelton Park is the hot spot in the community for summer activities and we want to encourage its use by all ages. We take pride in our community and have been so encouraged by the support we have received from businesses, residents, alumni, former residents, and the support of the Kearney Area Community Foundation. We have sponsored many projects in the past in cooperation with the Kearney Area Community Foundation and have been able to complete numerous projects with the support of our donors. It truly makes a huge difference to our community, and we thank you for your support and donations!



The Shelton Cornerstone Bank is providing $10,000 in matching funds exclusive to the Shelton organizations participating in Give Where You Live.

Testimonials

The Shelton Area Lions Club has made several upgrades to the Shelton Park and the community that has benefited all age groups. Past projects include updates to the basketball court a new tornado slide, a shade awning for the splash pad, a new pavilion, and picnic tables, playground equipment, pickle ball court and our fun free to the public movie in the park and our Merry and Bright celebrations. The new "Welcome to Shelton" sign has been installed on the east side of town on Highway 30 complete with landscaping and lighting. The Shelton Area Lions Club sincerely appreciates your continued support of our projects! It has been very rewarding to see so many wonderful projects completed with the help of our annual fundraising campaign and with the assistance of the Kearney Area Community Foundation.
