The annual Give Where You Live campaign is truly a recipe for success for our community. Just like a great dish needs a variety of quality ingredients working in harmony, this campaign brings together donors of all backgrounds—each one an essential part of the mix.
When combined, their generosity helps fund local nonprofits, giving them the tools and support they need to thrive. It's this powerful blend of compassion, commitment, and community spirit that creates something amazing: a stronger, more vibrant place for everyone.
Since Give Where You Live's inception in 2013, more than $13.5 million has been raised for local nonprofits. Every contribution, big or small, adds flavor to the whole—proving that when we all give where we live, we all rise together.

We work hard every day to maintain a philanthropic culture to assure that donors and the community are served in an atmosphere of trust and professionalism which will, in turn, allow your Kearney Area Community Foundation to make a meaningful and positive impact on the residents of our community, now and in the future.
Since our inception in 1995, the Kearney Area Community Foundation has granted more than $85 million to local organizations (through scholarships, grants, and program support) serving a wide variety of community needs. Our mission is to "enhance the quality of life in the Kearney area by promoting the spirit of charitable giving and effectively responding to the community's needs." The Kearney Area Community Foundation does not profit from Give Where You Live. This is our gift to the community.
