DECEMBER 7TH- Come join us at the Kearney Family YMCA and ride in honor of a cancer survivor. Our goal this year is $10,000 to start our new program called LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. We will have employees, board members, members & friends cycling in the YMCA lobby from 6AM-7PM. This fundraising event takes place online or in-house and can only be achieved with YOUR support!

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a program dedicated to helping cancer survivors and is run by YMCA staff. YMCA staff are specially trained to design workout programs for participants who are bouncing back or currently undergoing cancer treatment. Survivors and often their families receive a membership at the Kearney YMCA for the duration of the program.

Instructor Brooke White: "Cancer has impacted so many not only in my family but around me. I have a passion to help those going through this hard, emotional, and physically tasking time of their life. I want participants to not only get physically stronger for their day to day tasks but to receive participant centered care while building supportive connections and relationships. We are Strong, we are LIVESTRONG at the YMCA!"
