Central Elementary School

Central Elementary is on a mission to reimagine our playground-creating a space where every child can play, move, learn, and grow together. By updating our equipment and play environment, we're building a brighter, more inclusive future for our students-one that inspires physical fitness, fuels imagination, and strengthens our community through active play.

Through Kearney Public Schools, our PTO, and local donors we will have new playground equipment installed this Fall!  Our mission continues and we are looking to add trees and benches to the playground!  The added shade and places to rest or sit will provide our students with an enhanced play experience

By updating our playground, we aim to create a space where every child can play, grow, and thrive - because healthy habits begin with active hearts and joyful play.
