A Safe Haven for Cows in the Heart of Nebraska

Riverview Rescue & Sanctuary is a one woman-founded and operated 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to rescuing cows and providing them with lifelong sanctuary in the Kearney, Nebraska area.

Our 32 rescued cows are not numbers—they are individuals with names, personalities, friendships and families. At Riverview, mothers stay with their babies, bonded companions stay together, and every animal is given the time and security they need to learn that they are safe.

Our herd includes seniors, bottle babies, shy cows, gentle giants and animals who came to us needing a second chance. Some arrived frightened of people. Others needed extra care. Here, they are given nutritious food, veterinary care, a safe home and, most importantly, the promise that they will never again be displaced.

Caring for a herd this size is a tremendous commitment. Hay alone is a major year-round expense, along with land, veterinary care, minerals, bedding and shelter. Every donation—large or small—directly helps us provide the daily care these animals depend on.
