Shelton FFA Boosters

The Shelton FFA Booster Club supports the activities of the Shelton FFA Chapter. FFA is a National Organization promoting premier leadership, personal growth, and career success for students involved in the program. Booster club members are parents and volunteers who offer their time and resources to plan and work fundraising events. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in lending a helping hand.

The Shelton FFA Booster Club was established to support the activities of the Shelton FFA Chapter. The Shelton FFA Chapter was originally chartered in 1938 and was discontinued in 1970. With the addition of an Ag Teacher at Shelton High School the FFA program was reinstated in 2016. 



The short-term goal of the Booster Club is to assist the Chapter with financial support for participating and competing in FFA events and contests. We specifically would like to assist with purchasing a floral refrigerator as well as continue to provide support for the iconic blue jackets to first-year students.



The long-term goal is to provide financial support for larger projects that will benefit the FFA Chapter as well as the Ag program at Shelton High School. The Booster Club spent the first couple of years raising money to help fund a greenhouse for the students to utilize for both Ag and Science classes.



The Shelton Cornerstone Bank is providing $10,000 in matching funds exclusive to the Shelton organizations participating in GWYL.

Testimonials

The Shelton FFA Chapter was reinstated in 2016 and the Shelton FFA Booster Club was established at that time. The FFA Booster Club has raised thousands of dollars to promote the FFA program at Shelton Public Schools.
