The Elm Creek Teammates Chapter began in 2013. Teammates is a school based mentoring program that pairs students with adults that have similar interests and experiences. We match to create a long time friendship. Our matches try to meet once a week for at least 30 minutes during school hours. We raise funds to provide scholarships for our graduating Seniors and for allowing events to happen to celebrate our mentees and mentors through Friendsgiving meal, Outside school events , Root Beer float at lunch, Senior breakfast and other events. Teammates is a non-profit organization founded by Tom and Nancy Osborne in 1991 with hope of providing meaningful relationships through mentoring. There are 190 chapters throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, Missouri, and Wyoming.
