Junior Achievement's mission is to empower young people to own their economic success. Junior Achievement aims to empower students to take charge of their future by equipping them with the tools to be self-sufficient and have professionally fulfilling futures. Annually, over 80 volunteers from the Kearney community teach nearly 3,000 K-12 Kearney students how to manage money, give them tools to develop their professional futures, and teach them about the economy they will be part of.

At Junior Achievement, we believe in inspiring tomorrow.
We empower students with the knowledge and skills to build brighter futures-for themselves and their communities. This school year, JA will bring lessons in financial literacy, work and college readiness, and entrepreneurship to K-12 students across our community.

But JA programs are only possible through the generosity of people like you. Your support helps students connect what they learn in the classroom to real-world experiences, making education more relevant and encouraging them to stay in school.

Junior Achievement in Kearney is growing in impact like never before-reaching nearly 3,000 students in more than 140 classrooms across Kearney and even in the surrounding communities of Pleasanton and Amherst.

Together, we're shaping confident, capable young people who are ready to take on the world. Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of leaders, innovators, and dreamers.

Testimonials

Following the completion of Junior Achievement in her second-grade class, a teacher had the following to say about the volunteer: "My class was so sad Mr. White was only here for a week. They all ran up to hug him when he left on his last day. That is what I call relationship building in 5 days. They adored him and really listened to what he taught them."
