The Open Book is used/vintage bookstore and community center located directly across the street from UNK's main campus at 942 24th St. Its goal is to provide a welcoming space where all members of the Kearney community can come to relax, read, engage and interact. We offer space for quiet individual reading, musical and literary presentations, and for friends, clubs, and committees to gather. We gratefully accept donations of well-loved but no longer needed books, while offering patrons the opportunity to find new ones. Our goal is to get books into hands, large and small, and to perpetuate the love that we have for reading. All books and all people are welcome!
