Crossroads provides programming to end the cycle of homelessness for individuals and families utilizing our 4 Phase Recovery Program, life skills training, one-on-one case management, transitional housing, employment assistance & training, budget & finance counseling, prescription medication management, medical referrals, and much more. We also provide meals and food boxes for those in need in the Kearney community. Thanks to the generous donors in Buffalo County, Crossroads Missions Avenue has already provided over 20,000 nights of stay and almost 61,000 meals for our needy neighbors in 2025. Many Buffalo County families are struggling! Crossroads Mission Avenue has been serving Central Nebraska families for over 40 years, with campuses located in Kearney, Grand Island, and Hastings, and a campus that will open in Lexington in 2026! Crossroads does not receive government funding but relies on donations from the private sector to maintain daily operations to serve the homeless and transform the lives of our Nebraska neighbors for independence and self-sufficiency.
