Northeast Elementary is one of the largest elementary schools in the Kearney Public School system with an enrollment of over 380 students. It is located in a neighborhood containing pockets of deep poverty and young families facing economic barriers. We are a Title 1 school with over 50% Free and Reduced Lunch rate. We also serve many students learning english. For the past three years, our students have benefited from a healthy fruit or vegetable that was provided through a grant from the USDA.
