Acerca de esta organización

The Pleasanton Fire District is also known as Buffalo County Rural Fire District #4 which consists of parts of 6 Townships and the Village of Pleasanton. 150 square miles, or 96,000 acres, 326 Rural-occupied Structures, 176 Village-occupied structures, and approximately 800 residents.

We are blessed with a dedicated group of volunteers, and a Rural Fire Board that works hard to support the needs of the department. The rural board has saved money for 7 years and we have fundraised for the last six years to be able to construct a new fire hall. The fire hall sits on donated land next to the Pleasanton water tower, on the hill on the north side of town, and out of the flood plain!! With your help, this project was completed last year and fully paid for! Thank you!!

Having completed the fund raising for the fire hall, we are pivoting towards some much needed equipment needs. We are needing to replace an old set of Jaws of Life equipment, as well as some other items like bunker gear, fire hose, nozzles, etc. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we thank you for supporting us!!!
