The Family Advocacy Network (FAN) assists Law Enforcement, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, and prosecutors investigating crimes against children, in particular sexual abuse in 14 central Nebraska Counties. We opened our doors in April 2001 and since that time we have served over 10,000 child victims of abuse and their non-offending family members. FAN provides a safe place for child victims of abuse to have a voice. FAN provides forensic interviews, advocacy, case coordination, deposition space, on site medical exams, onsite acute SANE exams, triage space for children going into care or human trafficking victims, education/training and hair/nail testing for drug exposed children.
