About This Organization

Nebraska AIDS Project, Inc. was organized in 1984 when medical professionals, Catholic nuns, Health Department officials, concerned citizens, friends, family members, and loved ones joined together for one cause: fighting HIV and AIDS.
The Nebraska AIDS Project:
• Educates our community about HIV/AIDS/STDs
• Encourages our community to know their HIV status and
• Empowers our community to prevent the spread of HIV and to care for those living with HIV
The Nebraska AIDS Project office in Kearney serves 35 counties in central Nebraska. Services provided include:
• Free HIV/STI Testing and Counseling
• Education about HIV/AIDS
• Case Management for clients living with HIV/AIDS
• Support Services

The Nebraska AIDS Project is committed to ensuring that all persons have access to HIV testing. NAP HIV testing services are:
• Cost Free
• Conducted in Private
• Anonymous and/or Confidential
Test results are available in 20 Minutes with professional pre and post-test counseling provided.
