Central Nebraska Reading Council

The mission of CNRC is to facilitate literacy learning experiences for educators, parents, and students in area schools at all levels. Funds may also be used to disseminate resources for educators, parents, and students. We lend our support to literacy-related efforts and programs of other organizations.

Our past projects have included sponsoring children's book authors in-residence in area elementary schools, providing free books to be distributed to children at events open to the public, and donating funds to sponsor literacy based projects by other organizations. In addition, we have provided a number of professional development workshops for area educators in a variety of venues.
