Our neighbor-helping-neighbor philosophy encourages members to work together and give back to their communities. Below are areas we have focused on in the Kearney Chapter's first ten years and future planned activities.

We have assisted with locating funding for local food bank food to combat food insecurity, and physically helped with the distribution of over thousands of food boxes on mobile food pantry dates. We regularly volunteer to help with food distribution at the mobile food pantry sites. We have concentrated in 2025 on providing additional protein sources at the mobile food pantries and we have donated over 1,000 dozen eggs to those in need.

- Education impacts lives, we have an annual fundraiser for our scholarships for first-time female college/technical/vocational program attendees. We have also hosted free classes to increase skills many of which are being lost in today's society.... sewing, mending, canning, welding, vegetable gardening, teas for wellness, sourdough bread and pie baking.
